I don't think anyone did pressure him to do anything. I could be wrong there, but my understanding is that this was all him taking the action on himself to resign. Like he is either ultra woke that he felt he had to, or...... he just wanted to quit because of something else and this was the quickest avenue that gave him the opportunity. I dunno. Really stupid either way.

CUNY takes Amber Heard’s side, and cancels an Alumna who did a great job of “winning” and defending her client, Johnny Depp. She was even an immigrant from the Dominican Republic.

It’s still beyond ridiculous, there’s just no need to embellish. What I’ll never understand is how we got to a place where so many people are searching out ways to be offended. It makes no sense.
Teddy Roosevelt’s famous quote that it’s not the critic who counts needs to be circulated more and more these days.

Be fair and accurate. CUNY didn’t cancel the alumni, they took down the article they circulated about that alumni.

Well, they canceled her story of success in their news letter because of NYU students who took Amber Heard's side that she was abused by Depp. Instead of celebrating this young immigrant's success in winning a highly publicized court case, they ran from it. It seems a bit off to me.

I was surprised as to the level of liberalism when I attended college oh so long ago, but my primary education was absolutely steeped in a conservative environment. It wasn't everywhere, by any means, but like pornography, man you knew it when you saw it.
I've read the word "groomers" used a lot lately. I'm not a fan of it but you certainly can see why it's used (in a variety of circumstances). Secondary education seems much more about grooming the future generations than educating them, to me at least.
The left are going to do whatever they can between now and the election/first of the year. One of those things is going to be student loan forgiveness. I hope the truth is told when this happens and the GOP scream bloody murder from the highest mountain top. I won't argue that our children aren't be cheated. BUT they aren't being cheated by the taxpayer. They're being cheated by the Universities and the politicians. If they want those loans erased, let the Universities cash in some of their foundation dollars or Barack, Nancy, Chuck, Bernie, Ted and Mitch cash in some of their assets, all gathered from their time in government, to pay it back.
Otherwise we are just reinforcing the wrongly held beliefs of this growing number of moronic students.

White Minneapolis teachers will be laid off “or reassigned” before “educators of color” the Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) declared. In the event that layoffs need to occur, MPS created a contract that is designed “to remedy the continuing effects of past discrimination by the District” reports Alpha News. “Past discrimination by the District disproportionately impacted the […]
Minneapolis teachers union will layoff white teachers before ‘educators of color’........this is literally against the law.

For anyone on here who thinks that the political landscape is even sort of neutral, here is a proof of how the major media companies (New York Times, Washington Post, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, etc. ) are in the pocket of the Democrat Party. In this case, the NY Times, canceled a Tim Scott editorial. The NY Times editor, was going to ask Chuck Schumer about the editorial where Tim Scott, a black Republican, Senator was fighting for Police Reform legislation to be placed into law. The New York Times is so much in the pocket of the Democrat Party that they didn’t want this legislation to be given consideration by the public.
Tim Scott stated that the MSM can’t give any support to a Black Senator that would not bow down to the alter of the Democrat Party.
