If the post office getting the electric vehicle is supplied electricity from anything other than a fossil fuel power plant, then an electric vehicle would be a reduction in the carbon footprint, otherwise, its a not really a net benefit, right? It's just trading gas for coal. That's what is so stupid about this whole charade.
