PART I
---
In 1920, the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP) (known in America as "Nazis") was a small (maybe 50-ish member?) quasi-secretive organization that started holding some public speeches (to the tune of 100-150 attendees). Early on the NSDAP were successful at fundraising by raising cash via the secretive "Thule Society" (which consisted of a bunch of wealthy elitist wackos).
Early that year the NSDAP organically created a PARAMILITARY group by hiring unemployed thugs, for the purpose of forcibly removing hecklers that would show up at their public speeches. Soon, they also started using the paramilitary group to agitate, intimidate, vandalize, and get into fights at OPPONENT rallies.
Funding made hiring young unemployed 18-30 year old men inexpensive and there were plenty of them around due to high unemployment, so their numbers grew. Because unemployment was high, getting paid to have "power" gave the disenfranchised young men a sense of purpose and created mindless loyalty. Of course, the thugs had no LEGAL authority at all. They were simply a group of disenfranchised men employed by a fairly small organization -- ostensibly for the purposes of "protection" or "security".

PART II

In February of 1921 the NDSAP organized a massive 2,000 people rally. The rally attracted plenty of dissenters, but the thugs were ready and used rubber batons to beat them away.
In November 1921, the Nazis held another large meeting where their opposition appeared in greater numbers, and a massive melee ensued. The thugs whipped the opposition pretty easily. After this meeting, the group officially became known as the "STORM TROOPERS": A paramilitary branch of an organization with no legal authority what-so-ever. But it was swelling in numbers due to being funded by wealthy elitists, and taking advantage of disenfranchised, unemployed young men.
The storm trooper numbers grew large enough that by November 1923, approximately 2,000 of them (with Adolf Hitler at the lead) marched into downtown Munich with the idea of forcibly taking over the city's government. They were defeated, with 16 of the Nazis killed and 4 police officers killed.

They probably used rubber batons because guns in the hands of Storm Troopers would be ineffective.

Adolf was wounded but escaped, only to be arrested a couple of days later under the charges of high treason. He was put on trial, but he used that trial as a platform to propagate his extremist ideals. He was found guilty, and thrown into prison with a 5 year sentence. He would only serve 9 months of the sentence, however, after later being pardoned by the Bavarian Supreme Court.
While in prison he wrote Mein Kampf (My Struggle) which was dedicated to the 16 Nazis killed during the march (now called the Munich Putsch or the Beer Hall Putsch).
The 16 men killed during that failed coup attempt were considered by the Nazis as the "first blood" of the revolution, and were upheld as martyrs for the entire duration of WWII. The blood-stained Nazi flag carried into that 2,000 man march was present at all Nazi initiations from that point forward.
When released from prison, Hitler changed tactics and began to rely on PROPAGANDA to secure power using a LEGAL means.

Of course, the guy defending himself and his friends were the once arrested.
Nice story. I would have attempted to arrest them first by yelling at them to get on the ground, then call 911. If they turned and ran I obviously wouldn't shoot. If they came at me again after brandishing the weapon, I would have started dropping mofo's until my magazine was empty (21 rds.), or the threat had ended, whichever came first.
You have the SJW recorded saying, "we're gonna kill you". Now as long as the guy with the gun didn't go into the group taunting or picking a fight, he's perfectly legal in his use of force.
I was making a joke today at work that they would be demanding that all the monuments in Washington D.C. would need to be removed. Hardly 5 minutes later stories from Pelosi and CNN came out demanding various monuments be taken down.
