How many more cops have been slain that we haven't been told about?

I guess if a right-wing extremist kook did it, they'll start reporting it.

This kind of rhetoric is not far removed from the Christchurch mosque shooting or the El Paso walmart shooting.

I would also think that, on a purely ideological basis, people protesting government overreach and abuse of citizens would have some libertarian support. The saying is, after all, "Don't Tread On Me".
But they don't actually want less government. They want less government by way of reduced police presence. Everything else they believe in is pretty much the opposite of limited government.

        Sure. That is extremely fair.

However, I would just make the argument that there are several factions to the protests that have been ongoing. The first is the people that are there against police brutality, systemic racism, overpolicing in black and brown communities, etc. The second, is primarily disaffected Bernie Bros and socialist losers who have appropriated the original protests about police treatment and black equality into airing their greivances against capitalism, the current government structure, and a whole bunch of other lame reasons they deem as "unfair". Which is quite funny because they scream all day long about "cultural appropriation" and yet have done the exact same thing they yell aobut to black people in this situation.

Smart politicians and smart media companies are doing what they can to try to combine the issues to make it seem that the groups are one in the same. Label them all as socialists (of which the CHAZ group clearly is). But the two factions in the protests, I would argue, are actually quite different.

            5.56 (AR-15) = around 350 yards effective range.

            Shotgun = 50-125 yards. 125 being with a slug.

For indoor self defense, the shotgun is tough to beat. But in a war... you need a rifle.

P.S. Please don't load your home defense shotguns with double ought (00) buckshot unless you want to risk lighting up your loved ones during a home invasion. 00 will go through multiple walls. Use #4 shot. It's JUST what the doctor ordered. ;)

I’ll take the grendel over any 5.56. At 300yds I was putting 5 rounds inside a quarter.

the shotgun is for clearing the rioters, the fam is in the basement. I wouldn’t use a shotgun for self defense in a midnight intruder scenario.

Nice lol. I own a .338 Lapua Magnum, but I'm not gonna waste a $7.00 round on a deranged Libtard attacker's head... that is, unless it's the 4th of July. Then it might be worth it just to see it *pop*

I sense my comments are starting to get offensive for some.

Why are you shooting someone at 300 yards? Even in a civil war scenario?

The one with the weapon that has the longest effective range usually wins. It's Warring 101. Even though the 7.62x39mm (AK-47) has more punch than the 5.56x45mm (AR-15), the 5.56 is much more accurate and stable further out. So the Taliban spray and pray from the hills while the U.S. operators just make single or 3-round bursts and drop 'em like prairie dogs.

You never want to get into a fair fight in a war if at all possible.

American's haven't fought fair since..... never. Hell, we were even ambushing the Brits. They would just stand there all proper - then we'd spring from the bushes lol. We practically invented guerrilla warfare.

Then we developed nukes and dropped them on a couple towns... talk about cheaters.

I gotta come back and say- the fact that the left is taking the tongue in cheek “boogaloo” and has labeled it a movement is hysterical. I didn’t realize it until it was pointed out in this thread. The Wikipedia page reads like a Babylon bee article.

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
