Make sure you have a pistol. I really like the Springfield xd lineup. I shot an XDM a few days ago and really liked it. I prefer no bells and whistles on my pistol. 9, 10, 40 s&w, 45 seem to be the most popular. Again, get something a lot of people have, like a 45.
That’s a good set up if you want to be mobile. If you want to defend your castle, get a short barreled shotgun (Remington 870 would be good) as well. Get double slug bear rounds and buckshot and load them alternating.
I recommend at least 1k rifle and 1k pistol ammo. 500 shotgun. Double if you have a place you can stash it if you need to get away.
stock up on iodine, and get a life straw.
I get pilot bread at Costco but I’m pretty sure the AK Costco’s are the only ones that sell it.
I also recommend getting a bulldozer and cladding it in armor and concrete so you can tread on those who tread on you.
also, buy a canoe. It’s fun to go boating with everything you just purchased at a place like the Marion reservoir and but would be tragic if you capsized and lost it all up by the dam.
