Banny with a nice season debut with 6 shutout innings, going to the top of the ninth Royals up 2-0. We may actually have a Soria sighting.

Banny pitched pretty well tonight. It was good to see. Wright also came in and pitched two solid innings. Soria did well. He did walk one and give up a hit. Not sure if the one pitch was considered a WP or PB. But it feels good to get another win. Too bad the game tomorrow won't be on TV. I love watching Meche pitch.

How about Billy Butler making some nice plays at first and bailing out some not so great throws! :clap:

Yea Billy did make some nice plays, but i found myself busting up laughing when Billy got called out at home. He showed it certainly isnt the fastest guy in the world.

Well, I was a Hillman supporter last year and after a few questionable decisions this year I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

But no more.

There is no logic behind leaving Meche in as long as he did. IMO, Gil shouldn't have started the 8th. After the leadoff double, he should have been pulled. But no. Hillman leaves him in until Cleveland ties tha game on a Callaspo error with runners at the corners. Then Mahay (being used as a lefty specialist even though Hillman said in the first week he wasn't) gives up a 3-run homer.

Hillman, you're in over your head.
