      • Starting in 2010, the Chiefs will have their training camp in St. Joe, Missouri at Missouri Western. On campus, there will be an air-conditioned indoor practice facility built so they don't have to play out in the Midwestern heat all day.

I have always wanted to go to training camp but didn't want to drive all the way to River Falls, Wisconsin. In 2010, the drive will only be about 4 hrs away. :yahoo:

          • So after another wonderful choke job, the chiefs are still in contention for the 2nd or 3rd overall pick. They will surely lose at Cinci next Sunday, which will lock up the 2-14 record. Only Detroit (0-15) and St. Louis (2-13) have the same or worse records.

How do they decide between St. Louis and KC who gets the better pick?

it goes by tie breakers, and since St. Louis has a tougher schedule according to Strength of Schedule pct. wise, then they will own the tie breaker over us. But no matter what happens next week we pick no high than 3rd, the only way we pick 2nd is if St. Louis wins at Atlanta (not gonna happen), and we lose at Cinci.

              • i got this from a chiefs board, and here are the way we can get the #2 pick

                First way
We lose to Cincinnati and St. Louis beats Atlanta
                No tiebreakers involved

                Second way
We lose to Cincinnati and St. Louis loses to Atlanta and
we get at least 5 of the SOS games below to go our way

                Thrid way
We lose to Cincinnati and St. Louis loses to Atlanta and
we get 4 of the SOS games below to go our way and
                we win a coin toss

                Fourth way
We beat Cincinnati and St. Louis beats Atlanta and
we get at least 4 of the SOS games below to go our way

                Fifth way
We beat Cincinnati and St. Louis beats Atlanta and
we get 3 of the SOS games below to go our way and
                we win a coin toss

Games that affect net SOS between KC and St. Louis, and who we want to win

Chicago over Green Bay (Monday night)
                Giants over Minnesota
                Tampa over Oakland
                Indy over Tennessee
                SF over Washington
                Chicago over Houston

                • So, Detroit will pick Georgia's QB with the first pick, who do we go after? We need a QB (among many other needs), but who?

I don't really understand picking a QB. Thigpen has done a fine job and personally I think we should stay with him and not choose a QB in the first round, but later in the draft.

Chiefs seriously need a pass rushing specialist.

Picking QBs later has not worked well for the chiefs in the past (i.e. Croyle). Thigpen has been improving, but who knows what a new coach will want. It all depends on how soon a new GM is brought in and how quick he brings in a new coach.

There are so many positions that the Chiefs need to draft it isn't even funny. But they probably shouldn't pick anything but a QB in the first round. Unless something drastic happens and they find an OL worth picking 2nd or 3rd overall.

I have no problem with Thigpen and i wouldnt be upset at all if we went with Thigpen, but if their is what the Chiefs think as a cant miss NFL franchise type of QB then you cant pass on him

                            • Better shore up your offensive line then worry about a QB.

KC QB`s are constantly getting rushed or sacked. 8)

we are gonna have to fill some needs through Free agency as well as the draft. I think Terrell Suggs would look nice in a Chiefs uniform :D
