Another Note, that Offensive PI on TG was such BS. First off the TB defender was holding all the way down the field, and then Tony barely touched him (which by the way he was falling down before he touched him). I just thought that was such a horrendous call.

Yep! If Rhonde hadn't tripped and fallen about the time Tony went up for the pass they wouldn't have called it. Kind of like a push-off on a big man down low in basketball, it appeared he pushed off but the replays showed he didn't.

Everyone talks about the Tampa 2 and how tough it is so I was impressed to see Thigpen pass the ball as well as he did. He seems to be clicking with Bowe & Bradley, so I think they've found their #2 wideout finally.

Speaking of questionable coaching, who on earth called the screen pass on 3rd and 1 from the 4 yard line?!? They snapped the ball and I was screaming "why are you running backwards 15 yards on 3rd and 1!!!!" I know had it worked they'd say they were geniuses, but they were running the ball effectively to that point, you've gotta pound out 1 yard that close to the goal line!

I'd love to see Thigpen play well enough the rest of the year to pass on a top 5 QB pick and get an OL or DL instead, then pick up a young QB to groom later on based on what's there.

Yup i agree, Im kind of hoping a DE or a Middle LB for our first pick. Pat Thomas has to be the worst Middle LB i have ever seen. I wouldnt mind us getting that MLB from USC REY MAUALUGA i think his name is.

I don't think anyone wanted to give up a 1st rounder for Tony. I think the best offer was a 3rd round pick from the NYG, but I could be wrong. Either way, I feel bad for the guy. As good as he is and not a single playoff win.

As for the 2 point conversion on Sunday I agree, it wasn't a terrible call, but as an arm chair QB I look at it this way. OT is 50/50 depending on who wins the toss. We were moving the ball well and could have easily scored if we won the toss. On the other hand, a 2 point conversion has something like a 25% success rate...and it's probably even lower than that for the Chiefs.

Maybe they just didn't have time to set it up since they didn't have any timeouts left. Or maybe they don't have any special plays.

absolutely horrible call going for 2 in that situation. Any smart coach knows that you always play for the tie on the road, I don't care what the situation is. Herm Edwards is the worst football coach ever, and that stunt on Sunday just proved it. I was at the bar watching the game with some friends, and the response was unanimous on the 2 point try: you just don't do that on the road
