Some of these are based off of last years numbers. Obviously with so many young arms you never know what will happen and what they may project as in the majors. It also seems that we have a number of arms that do very well in A ball but struggle when advanced to AA. That's probably typical though considering the Texas League is a hitters league and they're obviously facing better talent. At least we have a number of young pitchers that are working their way through the system. At least a couple these guys have to pan out don't they?

One correction, though. I think Carlos Rosa was promoted to Omaha.

I'd add Daniel Guttierez at Burlington to your list. He's a guy JJ Piccolo, the player development director, has talked about KC radio. 1-0, 2.37 with 25 K in 19 innings over four starts (12 H, 5 ER, 9 BB). Too bad we didn't have the same kind of depth and promise with our hitters.

Nice win last night. God forbid the other team gets four runs, though. The Royals have only won three times when that happens.

Sub, you should also add Daniel Cortes to AA. He may end up being the best of all our pitching prospects currently in the minors.

Can't believe I missed Cortes. He's one I definitely remember. He's now added.

And thanks Indy for the heads up on Guttierez. I've added him as well.

Hopefully we find some bats to go along with these arms. There's a few prospects but I'd like to see more. At least Moose is starting to hit now.
