We broke the losing streak as Banny pitched a wonderful game for KC. An off day today and hopefully we get this long streak of games started off on the right foot. I believe today is their last off day for the rest of the month.

I have a small complaint about not getting the job done with the bases juiced.

However the way banny was throwing we could have won 1-0. Either way great game to watch and watching everything in HD was great.

/rant - If you run a search for MLB baseball there are a few Royals game listed. However if the game is shown on the FSNRHD and not FSNMW the game will not be shown. If its listed on both channels then we get the games.
This upsets me. - /end rant.

The bats are still disappointing. How do they not capitalize in those situations. Most of their problems should have been covered in Hitting w/RISP 101. I still think it'll come as we're dealing with a number of youngsters. Guillen finally starting to get on base is nice as well. It can only help those around him. And my fantasy team.

              hahaha I agree.

Yeah Guillen is starting to come about. Olivo is been a pleasure so far this year with the bat.
I think in the long run as the season wears on the bats should be fine.

The fact that the car ever ended up there is amazing.

Maybe the car was driven by a nine-year-old, which is also how old Billy looks when he runs the bases, excluding of course the nine-year-olds who understand basic baseball fundamentals.

Soria's stats are just ridiculous this guy is a freaking stud. What are you all's take on some of the guys argument on 810 in KC that they should move him into the rotation? I say bad idea, but some of the guys made some pretty compelling arguments for it, but I still don't think it is a good idea.

4-0 against the tigers this year. I think Soria may become one of the best closer in the Majors. That dude is just ice cole.

Unless they are developing the next Dennis Eckersley/Mariano Rivera clone leave him as the closer.

Great win tonight. I missed most of it that was a great win.

You leave him there this year and then reevaluate during the winter. I believe there is one guy in the minors who's been a pretty good closer so far. Don't know what they expect out of him. But Soria was a hell of a starter in winter ball a couple years ago and I think he would definitely be great in the rotation. Meche, Banny, Grienke, Hochevar and Soria could look really good.

Yep. Keep him closing this year, reevaluate over the winter. Ramirez could close right now if we needed him to, and he'd be able to handle the job if Soria started next year. If Soria doesn't cut it as a starter, no big deal, just put him back at closer. I've heard we have some Latin kids in the minors showing closer-type stuff, so our organizational depth in the pen looks good. If we can add another solid arm to the rotation, why not try it? I don't think I'd mess with it this year, unless we epically fall apart or desperately need another arm in the rotation because of injuries.
