  • Eric, RIP

He posted on here as Eric. Really was a prince of a guy. He loved to umpire baseball games. I suppose wearing all that gear in this heat must have been too much. He passed away today while umpiring.

Thoughts and prayers for his family, that is terrible to hear.

So sorry to hear. Peace to he and his family.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I am sorry about your friend, was he a poster here long ago? I have been using this name for a couple of years now, and I am alive and well.

Well this reminds me of a certain famous Mark Twain quote
"It's amazing to watch Ron slide into that open area, Fred will find him and it's straight cash homie."--HCGM

My apologies. My goodness. E died umpiring an 18u game in Hutch today. We were friends for 15 or 20 years. He loved baseball and softball, and the Shockers. We talked about baseball and WSU quite a bit. He followed this board. I swear he told me that he posted as Eric. Perhaps this is just more of an indication of my approaching dementia. Any, the E I knew is gone. Glad we have one still left, and again, my apologies
