Casey, remember last night, while you were all pissed off that the Cardinals weren't playing, and the only thing you could do was wish failure upon the Cubs, and you couldn't watch the game 'cause you have the shitty cable? Remember that? Thought so!

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Oh, this one isnt for you, Casey, it's for Joe Buck.

Just kidding! It was for you.

I feel good about the fact that the team I support doesn't alter their opinion of domestic assault based on how fast someone can throw a baseball. A ton of the holier than thous in Chicago are hypocrites because of the whole deal. Props for that.

As a side note, I wonder what Cubs fans parted with, money wise, to get into this game....there are 1000s there, and I bet that's what they paid per ticket, and then some.
And yet these tickets plus travel were probably still cheaper than a ticket at Wrigley.

Every team and fanbase has some skeletons in their closet...even Wichita State. Might as well just move on and wear this one. Nothing you can say will diminish the joy that Cubs fans feel. They won the title and deserve to gloat. Trying to diminish it is about as bad as KU fans trying to put qualifiers on WSU going to the Final Four. Let them have their moment.

I feel like you may have missed the part where Lusking is an MSU fan. I know they are a rare breed and difficult to spot.

Your point is still valid though.

                Bitter much?

Not really. A combination of your incessant and over the top baiting coupled with a difficult day in the office caused me to succumb and take the bait. So you won that round. Still think I have a pretty big lead in our overall series though.

I hope that Chicagoans (a generally nasty and awful people) can prove me wrong and embrace Steve Bartman now for all of the horrible things they put him and his family through.

I mean. On the one hand, it doesn't get much more hypocritical than firing a guy for playing a song about abusing women while glorifying and paying an actual abuser 10s of millions of dollars.

On the other hand, Lusking is a tool and MVJ posts funny pictures.

Maybe what you need to do is take the rest of the day off, head over to your dumpy, Missouri State themed apartment located in the crappy part of Columbia, and watch some TV. It might be difficult since you have the shitty cable, but give it a try.

It's great that the Cubs won. Now instead of being that special team that hasn't won in 100+ years, they are just another team with only 3 World Series wins.

What an incredible game! WS win in extra innings! Late inning comeback! I jumped out of my chair when Hosmer came home on the throw to first, and then of course they made it comfortable in the 12th cruising to their first championship in 30 years!!

Oh, did I not mention I busted out my 2015 WS Blu-Rays this week? :)
