Kind of a hidden secret is the Byron Walker State Wildlife Area west of Kingman. There are five or six nice ponds that are not overfished. You really need to talk to the game warden who has maps and he can tip you off to the best of the areas to fish.

Just found the answer. Might be talking about Andover's "Central" Park. Old Girl Scout camp and a nice piece of land. Has a small lake that would probably more accurately be called a pond.
