Lighten up Francis. The mix was there, fortunately for our region it did not come together when it could have.

      I'm fine, thank you.

I think the term "large tornado outbreak" should be taken seriously, not just thrown out there for the **** of it.

There was no reason to bring that crap up unless he was absolutely certain of the possibility, which 5 days out in weather forecasting is asinine.

It was pretty apparent as soon as Friday, that nothing remotely close to a "large tornado outbreak" was going to happen around here. The OP could have saved face and waited until the day before or day of, when things become more clear and absolute, instead of looking like a complete dumbass 5 days out.... and guess what... was proven wrong.
      Deuces Valley.
      ... No really, deuces.

when people are killed, it doesn't matter what size the tornado is.

You're so wise. You're like a miniature Buddha, covered in hair.

I know it is east of the turnpike so it shouldnt be much of a surprise, but Pensacola got 16" of rain yesterday, including 5" in 45 mins. Those with the tools should watch check it out.

Still in the Central time zone, though.
