If you want to be hit in the feels a bit, Daily Mail has an article that has snippets of those who were on the flight. Who they were and why they were traveling. If you have a heart, you'll feel the words.

Another awesome footnote in history next to BTK for Wichita.

I'm sure the families of the ice skaters are cursing this town. Does anybody know the attendance of the event?

But it was worthy of a response. #unhinged

I think AI can easily reduce the manpower required to solve this problem.

The Helo involved in this was a part of a squadron that as one of its duties was to ferry VIP's and elected officials to close in destinations in the Washington area.I would assume that all helo routes in and around RNA will be shut down or severely cut back. No way a controller should have let those two planes get that close visual separation or not. I'm sure the pilots log books will be heavily scrutinized but will never be made public.

Helo activity has already been changed as of this morning.

A Learjet 55 bound for Springfield, Mo, crashed shortly after takeoff in Philly. At least 6 on board. I know crashed are rare, but when they happen it's just a gut punch to me.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

                              Wichita built Lear.

Not hearing anyone mention that Springfield appears to be a fuel stop. 30 minutes on the ground continues on to Tijuana Mexico.

Adds some intrigue. Who was on the plane?
