Interesting. Maybe they are trying a strategy where you get to read a few articles to get you hooked and then try and nail ya? And using cookies to keep track?

The easy way to deal with it then in Internet Explorer (8 and 9) would be just do this:
1) click the gear on the right side of your brower
2) select Safety --> InPrivate Browsing
3) go to Kansas.com
4) Read your articles as normal and once you get the pop-up, just close that browser window and go back to step 1.
This way you never have to delete cookies.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!
