The big change in the weather pattern is coming across a large portion of the US. A series of storm systems toward the end of October into the first week of November will deliver much-needed rain (especially east of I-35 corridor).

I'm calling it now. Storms all miss Wichita. Seems like every storm system has been shifting north of the metro, guessing this system does the same thing.

The big change in the weather pattern is coming across a large portion of the US. A series of storm systems toward the end of October into the first week of November will deliver much-needed rain (especially east of I-35 corridor).

We'll take whatever we can get but what we really need is substantial rain west of the I-35 corridor, specifically west of Cheney especially the drainage basin of the Ninnescah River.

At this point looks like you made a good call, at least at this point. Getting a little rain in NE Wichita right now but the radar indicates the bulk of the rain looks to be from Salina and running north up through NE Nebraska. Omaha looks to be getting a good rain.

Another period from Saturday to Tuesday that should provide significant rain. Severe weather possible on Sunday. Then the weekend after next looks like another storm system pushing through bringing more significant rain.
