    Beware Dofo!

I agree with fever - it is his shtick that is being made fun of. I haven't decided whether he does it just because he like tweaking shockernetters and is really making fun of us or just craves the attention.

Last year was a real drought. This year could become serious depending what happens over the next several months. But it is no going to be as epic as last year. It does look like we are about to move from a el Nina to el niño - so what does that mean for ks?

Wow, it could be just as epic, and they often seem to run in 3-year cycles.

I don't think dofo is bright enough to be having fun with us. He's always liked the attention. It's in his history.

Historically, strong El Niño episodes reliably have featured two to three inches of precipitation above normal over Kansas during December-March. Precipitation totals have averaged around 140% of normal in the eastern third of the state and around 170% or higher in the western two-thirds. Additionally, Winter (December through February) has tended to be warmer than normal during these episodes.

El Nino doesn't mean anything for KS

                That is incorrect.

Are you trying to say that the largest thing on EARTH in which most of the jet stream travels over before it comes into the mainland US has no affect on Kansas? OK.

maybe you should consider moving to the east side of the turnpike.
