2012 MLB Draft 5 Spot; Possible Picks For The Royals In The MLB Draft
I agree with this and believe that the focus should be on college pitchers who could reach KC within a year or two. But I also don't know exactly how the new CBA rules are going to impact the Royals. They have a little over 6mil to spend on their first 10 picks I guess. I don't like the new rule at all as I've expressed when it was first being discussed.

With the 2012 MLB draft just a week away it is time to focus on how the Royals can improve their future. The new rules will play a factor in who the Royals should look at but considering the state of the franchise Kansas City should stick primarily with pitchers in the first three rounds of this years MLB draft.

* I believe Mike Zunino is the best player in this draft….If he is available at 5 I hope the Royals grab him and worry about the fact that they have two very good catchers later..
