NFL games for week 1 are certainly in play. I made a Browns v Jags wager.

Those free bets usually require you to roll over any winnings from them a certain number of times before you can actually cash out. But every site is different.

DraftKings has a free $50 for tonight. Odds are boosted on West Virginia/Pitt O/U .5 pts so the payout is +100 instead of -20000. Max wager is $50 and you can’t use free bets.

I played the boosted 2 team parlay with my free hunskie. OSU -6.5 and Mizzou -6.5 first quarter only. 350 if it wins. OSU scored on the last play of the quarter to cover.

There's a site out there that's been tracking the sports betting stuff since Apirl - betkansas.com - and it has information on the apps and promotions they do and reviews of each. It's a good site for information but it does have a lot of affiliate links and promos, so if you click on anything on the site, the person running the site will make a commission. Some people don't mind that but some people do, and for those who do, instead of clicking on the links, just go directly to the apps web site.

If there's an app that people like to use, then ShockerNet might want to look into becoming an affiliate. People could bet or sign up for promos and this site could get a commission. Also, if betting takes off, it may be worth it to have a Betting forum where people can post things there. Just throwing out a couple ideas.

Opened accounts with BetMGM, Fanduel, and Draft Kings. Only used the free bets given to me or a minimal deposit to earn the free bets. Won $290 this weekend on CFB and golf. Pretty much only bet on longshots since...well...it was free money.

Well done. I have $400 worth of free bets floating out there. Many will take most of the season to determine. I will be pleased if I get even near your return.

If you're in Kansas, FanDuel essentially has another free money offer. The Thursday Night Football game has a "boosted" bet with a $50 max bet. As long as the game doesn't end in a 0-0 tie, you win. They had one of these for one of the college football games over the weekend as well.

So I've noticed every pitchman for these betting sites is black. Is this on purpose? The black community drive these sites?

I've seen ads with Mitch Schwartz for Draft Kings. They also use Kevin Hart on their national ads which makes sense as he's one of the most famous, and likable, celebs on the planet right now.

Speaking of Kevin Hart, why is it that it has to be like the super secret director's cut to see his full scene cameo at Smart Tech in 40 Year Old Virgin?

It's absolutely hilarious, and I get why it's edited (somewhat) on FX (trust me, I've seen worse) but why on HBO etc?

Also, on the social justice front line....according to CNN, SNL has made history with their first non-binary cast regular.

I often wonder if there will actually BE a future where people will look back on these times and say "What in the actual **** were they thinking??!"

It's been forever since I've seen that movie that I don't even remember a Kevin Hart cameo. I'm going to have to find this scene soon.

On September 1, six platforms will be ready to launch. Kansas players can choose from FanDuel, DraftKings, Caesars, BetMGM, and Penn National Gaming. The state currently owns four casinos that will partner with sports bettors. A bill legalizing sports betting in Kansas was signed into law on May 12 by Kansas Governor Laura Kelly. If the state launches as planned, it will be one of the fastest transitions from legalization to launch. I've already begun to place my bets. So as not to risk too much, I'm watching College Football Computer Picks. Analytics has always been an important part of betting.
