I am kind of partial to Mediterranean fare. My favorite is Cafe Maurice at 1st and Webb. I really like the Kefta Kabobs with sautee'd veggies and hummus. There suatee'd veggies are really good as is their hummus. My wife likes the Chicken Shawarma Hummus, which is an appetizer, but she will order it as an entree.

          Bella Luna not bad either.

Had a really good Carnivore pizza on cauliflower crust this past weekend at Brickhouse Brewery (watching my carbs). A nice thin crispy crust. They have huge nacho plate as an appetizer that is really good as well. My wife, daughter and son-in-law all had the chicken fried steaks and seemed to like them.

I like me a Scholtzky's deluxe original gut the bread is a sin for me these days. Same for the Quizno's Classic Italian on rosemary parmesan bread with double meat. But at Quizno's you can get any sandwich as a salad and the Classic Italian with doulble meat makes a pretty hearty salad as well.

The baba ganoush with chicken at College Hill Deli is really good.

There is a nice BBQ place in Ottawa called Smoked Creations that I have found to be very good the few times I have eaten there. Nice variety on their menu.

Their baked potato salad served hot is a very good side.

A couple of unusual desserts. Rasberry-Filled Donut Bites and Sweet Potato Dessert Tots.

Had breakfeast one time at the Red Firehouse Cafe in Hutchinson. Kind of unique little restaurant. The fooe was very good and the portions quite large. It is a breakfast/brunch/lunch restauraunt that closes at 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm depending on the day. I think we went on a Saturday and it was quite busy.

I wonder if RoyalShock is familiar with this one?

It's been a while for me but the burgers at Harry's Uptown Bar and Grill on Douglas are very good. And TJ's Burger House in Delano is a great burger spot as well.

I don't remember when we lost Chi Chi's, but I do remember that was our go to place when we had out of town family visit. I was still pretty young I think when it went away but still have good memories.

A couple more outside of Wichita places I've enjoyed are in El Dorado. I don't make it that way often, but Fiesta is a nice little Mexican joint ran by a wonderful family. And Hampton's makes some of the best burgers I've had. Both are located in east El Dorado which is generally even farther out of my way. I believe Fiesta sits on Main between Central and 1st, while Hamptons is just west of Main on 2nd, maybe 3rd. Hampton's also has some respectable cheesecake.

Andover has a decent Mexican joint I've only been to a couple of times with Rio. I've yet to explore their entire menu but so far it's been pretty good.

And when it comes to sandwiches, or baked potatoes, my go to is City Bites. The Mesquite Chicken Baked Potato is one of the best spuds I've ever enjoyed. And it's massive. And the Baja Taco's don't suck either.
