I still read the board on a regular basis, just haven't posted in a long time.

On the current board you can go to https://shockernet.net/memberlist and click on the Join Date column heading to sort by join date, which goes back to 2005. If you're on mobile, instead of seeing the column headings there will be a Sort By menu option to choose from instead.

I think that may be right. I remember the name anyway. For a rival poster he kept things real without being an ass hat

Kai was a **** moderator who felt the need to micromanage everything about the board and was way too hands on. He killed the spirit plus I'd get censored for saying things that never should have been censored by any reasonable standard. Then he let Louisville fans run around doing anything and everything they wanted while hammering Shocker fans for simply calling out their BS. That was the last straw and thankfully a second Shocker board was started around that time and was a good place until the guy that ran it went MIA.

Eventually I was told on Twitter, multiple times, that he was gone and this board was under new and better leadership. KW is great. Boards that are over moderated are just no fun.

                                The history is:

rec.sports.baseball.college -- this was where baseball was discussed before the web forum. Boyd Nation broke the NCAA RPI formula and all its special sauces. People hated WSU because of its success. Seem like in about 2000-2001 it died as all the forums started being made and monetized.

Then there was MVC Conference championed forum. It went for a while and then it went totally off the rails as all the fans were attacking each other and the MVC shut it down. I started off on it as Shocker Baseball on that forum.

I think the very first Shockernet forum was circa2001. I carried over the Shocker Baseball moniker. Then in 2005 when the next version of Shockernet came, somebody else grabbed "Shocker Baseball" before I could so I became "SB Shock"

RDR has an excel spreadsheet of all his account names. Sometimes he had arguments between his alter egoes.
