Wichita’s Tallgrass Film Festival hopes to win a national title, but it needs your help.
USA Today is searching for the best film festivals in its “10Best” contest, and it is letting people decide the winners. As of Monday afternoon, the Tallgrass Film Festival is ranked fourth among 20 festivals. USA Today says a panel of experts nominated Tallgrass and the other 19.
Tallgrass Film Association sent an email on Monday asking people to vote for it and to shine the “spotlight on Wichita!”

The website describes Tallgrass as the largest independent film festival in Kansas. It says Tallgrass showcases the best films from around the world each October.
