I have no idea what OU will do at home vs Tech next weekend, but they will lose at least 1 of the last 3 games, at Baylor, vs ISU who will absolutely carve them up, and at OSU.

Illinois has first and goal at the 7 in the 2nd OT at Penn State. Again, they cannot pass so PSU knows the run is coming. They're lining up 3 tight ends, 9 on the line. One or zero wideouts just to keep them honest, but it really does nothing. 2 more 11 dives and it's 3rd and goal from the 4. Feeble attempt to throw makes it 4th down and the kicker returns. They should have run 2 more dive plays and taken their chances.

Kick is good. 16-13 and Penn State will get their chance.

3rd and 2 turns into 4th and 2 and Penn State will try to tie with a 35 yard FG. Good and we'll go to a 3rd timeout.

Forgot they go right to 2pt conversions in the 3rd.

Penn State runs a double reverse throw back to the QB who stone cold drops it.

Illinois runs a roll throw to the RB who drops a tougher pass but one that should have been caught.

4 OT Illinois rolls out and has a guy wide open, waits too long and then bounces it, catching it on the short hop. Their QB is somehow injured, and if his backup can throw, why the hell hasn't be been playing because the kid hurt can't throw anything.

In conference action, Rice leads UAB 7-0 :)

Penn State drops one (would have been a tough reception) in the end zone and we're on to the 5th OT. Not sure this was a good idea.

Penn State is absolutely stuffed on a draw play. Looked like Illinois knew the play was coming. Illinois turn. They throw over the middle and it's knocked down.

This is definitely a bad idea. 6th OT.

Hearing the 7th OT is rock paper scissors. 8th is a coin flip.

Illinois tries a trick play but has to call time out.

QB throws the pass at least 7 yards out of the back of the end zone. Why they haven't tried a run yet is beyond me.

PSU with another chance to win before we go to rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock.

PSU goes lateral to the tight end and Illinois is there to stop it.

The coaches will do the RPSLS.

We're going to get a review in the 7th. Sprint draw by PSU called just short. It's CLOSE. He's down. Illinois gets a chance.

They run a sweep that is destroyed. 5 yard loss.

Illinois switching ends just to piss off the Penn State fans I think.

FINALLY someone scores, and Illinois takes a 2 point lead, BARELY extending the ball on a sweep that was very well defended.

Penn State runs up the middle and also scores and it is VERY CLOSE to be being down. I think he was down.

It's good. Tied in the 9th OT. Still can't find a coin.

Switching ends is getting tiring.

Penn State goes first. 4 wide and pass is broken up. Illinois with a chance to win it.

Would a pick 6 have won it there?

Anyway, Illinois lines up and Penn State takes a timeout.

Again, in conference play, Rice leads UAB 13-7.

Illinois runs RPO and finds the tight end in the end zone for the game winner. 20-18 final. Crazy crazy game.

PJ Fleck can coach. They've had an incredible amount of injuries this season to key players, and they keep plugging away. They just might play for the B1G title before it's all said and done....they'll have to win the Floyd of Rosedale and Paul Bunyan's Axe in the last 3 weeks to do it, but still. He does a fantastic job.

Last night the top 2 teams in 3A met to decide District 7. Andale punched Collegiate in the mouth 29-6 and left no doubt who the best team is in 3A.

Kansas State really needed to win today and somehow managed to come back at Texas Tech to win 25-24. I know they got a safety and a quick TD after the safety to cut a 24-10 deficit to a more manageable 24-19.

Sounds like I missed a good one with a fabulous 4th quarter.

Caleb Williams made 2 Heisman plays today. On 4th and 3 he left 2 would be tacklers grasping at straws while breaking away from a certain loss to score a touchdown.

Later, up only 5 late in the game, he handed off to Kennedy Brooks who was absolutely stuffed for a loss, but Williams grabbed the ball from Brooks and spun forward for a 5 yard gain, extending the drive and basically sealing the game. They lose without those plays today.

Iowa getting beaten on by Wisconsin. Cincy not looking dominant against Tulane. Mich-Mich St and Texas-Baylor are both fairly close games well into the second half.
