You are right. Will Kentucky prove they are a legit team or puffery?

There are a lot of legit teams that Georgia will make look like puffery this year. Kentucky went all in on transfers from other schools and looked legit against a depleted LSU team. They are fast and physical similar to Georgia, but only that first 11 on each side. They do not have depth and I think Georgia wins in a game much closer than the final score will be.

If I were a betting man I would take Kentucky and the 24 pets.

I thought Kentucky looked good against a decent ranked Florida team (at the time). But playing in Athens is a whole different story.

Derby beat Maize 42-41 in a game that lived up to expectations. I have no idea how Maize lost to Ark City earlier in the year. They are the best 5a team I have seen this year.

Sounds like a hekuva a good game.

The same can't be said for the East vs North game. The Blue Aces edged the Redskins (are they still using that name) 88-0.

I think that game was played on Thursday at Rolla which is west of Liberal. That's a long way for Burrton, which is halfway between Newton and Hutch, to travel for a football game so they might as well make the most of it.

This was 6-man football, so I can imagine a lot of those games are track meets.

                    • Saw where UConn won their first game in 700+ days by beating powerhouse Yale 21-15 at home.

                      • #3 Cincinnati finishes off UCF 56-21.

Meanhwile, in Iowa City, Purdue is about to hand #2 Iowa its first loss of the year and the Boilermakers have pretty much dominated the Hawkeyes. Ffinal Score: Purdue 24 - Iowa 7 (and it probably wasn't that close). Iowa looked like anything but a Top 10 or even a Top 25 team today.

Looks like Cincy will move into that #2 ranking.

                        • Coach O out at the end of the year at LSU.

                          Won the Natty in 2019.

                          Covid in 2020

                          Out 7 games into 2021.

Expectations might be a shade high in Baton Rouge, especially when the GOAT is in your half of the SEC.

A list of player assaults, etc. coverups aren’t helping his case.
