Yeah, still there. Open 'til 10 pm.

        I had no idea!

And that's just a few blocks away from where I collect money from my ho's.

Correct kinda. There is a Big Cheese in Wellington, though I'm told it is not an original. Still very good pizza though, I think. If you want to try it, have cash. They don't take debit/credit cards. Since they don't get much out of town traffic and because those who frequent there know that they take cash only, the owner has said that it's not worth paying the credit card processing fees to offer that payment method.

That sounds vaguely familiar. I was so young when it went away, or when we stopped going as often. I only have vague, but good, recollections of the place.

I'm sure I've asked this before, but does anyone recall the Chinese carry-out in an old Griff's building near Hillside and Harry (between Hillside and S. Clifton)? I'd guess the late 70's or early 80's. Still some of the best Chinese food I've had.

Also, how does the current Angelo's compare with the original? Their lasagna was pretty solid back in the day.

There’s also a few in the Denver area, but I’m not sure if they’re related to the ones elsewhere or if instead some kind of local chain.

Good friend of mine is family of the founders and owners of both. Chinese made fresh when you order it beats buffets, but buffets have eliminated the made-to-order Chinese restaurants.

I get my “Taco Tico” fix at the North Newton and Augusta restaurants… still pretty good grub and reasonable prices.
