And your post is relevant how?
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

Yeah, but keep in mind that's not Hulu Live which gives you live "cable" channels. That's just their on demand service which is delayed stuff. Still cool for $1-something in the bundle though.

I get live real-time programming and local channels in real time with my Hulu Live.

Oh I was referring to the Hulu, ESPN+, Disney+ bundle for $12.99/mo. Is that the same bundle you are referring to? Maybe there is a different bundle with Hulu Live?

The bundle that includes Hulu Live, Disney +, and ESPN is $71.99.

Ahh, that explains it. I got the cheapy one for $12.99 because I already had Youtube.tv.

I had the Sling, but then the service was discovered to be no too good. Was told direct tv had the subscription for use program for the watching of shows. But I decided to get the Hulu with the live. I really like it, but when I feel like they take advantage to me by price raises.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Youtube.tv is good. There are some ads that can be disruptive sometimes, but it's not horrible. The streaming quality is very, very good. The TV guide is okay. Good UI, but you can't go into the future very far. You can search into the future, but not "navigate to the right" very far like you can with a cable service and you could on PS Vue.

I look forward to hearing how you compare with Hulu Live. It's the one big service I have never tried, so you can give me the pros/cons after comparing.

My concern is that savings on TV may be offset by increased charges for internet. My internet data use is going to go up by a lot.

Does anybody have experience with a lot of data over the Net and how that affects ISP charges? My internet data is going to switch from a few youtube videos and some basketball games to two televisions with steady use, even if it's just for background noise. I'm afraid my ISP charges may increase enough to offset my savings for cutting the cable.
Came across this page on the AT&T site that helps one calculate data usage - https://www.att.com/support/data-calculator/ - and it's interesting to see how things are calculated if you scroll down to the bottom of the page. One thing to watch out for is the type of tv you'll be watching - such as standard vs high def vs 4K - because they use different amounts of bandwidth.

I've used both and the Hulu Live guide is kind of a pain on something like a Fire TV. Unless I was doing something wrong or it was just my tv, once you went to the guide on a tv, you lost any tv viewing. On a computer or a tablet, you could still watch your current channel on a mini screen and browse the guide, but on a TV, you didn't have the mini screen and so you were just looking at the guide only. Kind of a pain. But it's been over a year so I don't know if YouTube TV does that too or not.

I was reading an article about streaming services and it was talking about cost per channel. Since they're both around $65 a month now, you actually get a better deal with YouTube TV vs Hulu Live TV, because it's something like 85+ channels for YouTube TV vs 65+ for Hulu Live TV. Something called Fubo TV has 110+ channels for their $65 plan, so the article was recommending it instead for people looking at price per channel. So I've been looking into Fubo TV and would be interested in hearing if anyone has tried it.
