Thanks. Good info and advice. The Direct TV package that gets me the basic sports channels (no NFL or NBA packages) and a basic extension past local channels and national news channels - plus HBO and Showtime - is costing $195 a month through AT&T. They're also charging me $45 a month for a landline that I rarely use, but I have absolutely no use for a smart phone and that cost, especially when I'm always at home during a pandemic.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I have 1T of data at home, I have 7 TVs, 4 pads, 5 computers 8 smart phones, Hulu, Netflix, Prime. Usually I'm am around +500G. Three things are critical. For my wife Fox and Hallmark channelS (all of them), for me the sports channels. Cost is way too high, but not seriously unhappy with comcast

Almost identical. I only have seven phones. All unlimited data, so that helps. We give Verizon $360 a month.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

In what way? Poor programming in terms of channel selection or poor programming in terms of user interface (guide, search, etc.)?

1 T of data should not be a problem for streaming. Where a person will run into problems will be if they have cameras on their house. Then you will probably have to move to unlimited data.

Cameras? With 2 teenage boys and 2 teenage girls in the house, there is way too much going on I DON'T want to see. The boys rooms looks like the Nashville area after the bomb blast.

I did forget the game console the boys use. I usually do not give the boys data on their phones because they abuse it. Also I pause all their devices between midnight and 8am except on weekends.

Does anyone get NHK and or TVG with any of their services? I really want out of AT&T and can't go satellite where I am now. I can stream TVG if I have to but I prefer simplicity.

NHK is a must have, especially for the better half.

I believe Youtube TV has TVG. You can also get the Watch TVG app on Roku, Apple TV, etc.

I enjoy YouTubeTV...except they jacked up the cost a few months ago. All the sports channels I need. Plus I don't have to deal with Cox anymore...except for internet. I have had a few video quality issues lately, but they seem to resolve relatively quickly. None of my others apps have these issues so I'm pretty sure its a YTTV thing.

Lol, I would not want internal camera in the house (except for maybe in the baby room). I am actually talking about external camera on the house or at your doorbell.

TVG is a horse racing and betting channel. Not sure what the other one is. It is owned and operated by Fan Duel.

Oh, that's the crap a friend of mine watches in Denver. He's got it on every time I visit. He's a compulsive horse gambler. He bets online based on what is on his horse channel. He lives at Arapahoe during the racing season and even flies into Omaha to watch their weekend event. Guy is a nut. I don't do the horses except if I'm in Denver when Arapahoe is open. I don't go with him when he comes to Omaha.

TVG is the horse racing channel. Great coverage around the country and personalities like Brittany Eurton , Gabby Gaudet and Matt Carothers make the racing more fun to follow.

NHK is the Japanese Channel. Bento Express, Kabuki Cool, Pythagora Switch, The Hand Wash Dance and of Course Grand Sumo highlights. Best channel ever.

I'll take "Obscure cable channels nobody's ever heard of" for $300.
