And I will always think Karen Carpenter had the most perfect voice I've ever heard.

Karen Carpenter was also one of my favorite female singers. It still makes me wonder why The Carpenters have never been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I don't know how many of you remember the 4th of July Fireworks in the Sky concerts that were original held on the WSU campus at Cessna stadium but I believe it was at the inaugural event that they featured Donna Summer's cover of McArthur Park (long version).
