Not your fault, one pitch late in the game and I believe there were two outs. But at least you have an idea and they were in it.

Yeah there were 2 outs. Not sure if Katie was tired at that point, but Jamie had pitched 2 scoreless innings in relief at Memphis last week. Jamie only gave up 2 hits but with 2 walks and an internatioanl tiebreaker runner in front of those two home runs it turned into another come from ahead loss for the Shocks.

        DeJaVu all over again. :-x
Oh well, I still think we can win 3 of the next 4 games.

The tying home run that Jamie gave up in the botton of the 7th was also with 2-outs.

Did the softball team's driver swerve to avoid a black cat but then crashed into a mirror truck, spilling the salt shaker tied to the roof of the van, rolling under the world's biggest ladder just off the side of the road?

The ways this team have found to lose games over the last 12 months is beyond frightening.

This may be selective memory, but the principal way seems to be never knowing for sure what you are going to get out in the circle.

The mirror truck also had license plate "13". Actually, this has happened consistently enough over the last year or so that perhaps it has nothing to do with bad luck. It seems to be something that has become woven into the fabric of this team. Coach Pooch's challenge is to find a way to change the fabric.

Shocks are the home team in the Baylor game.

Kasha in the circle. Gets the 1st two batters but then gives up two singles and a double to spot Baylor to a early 2-0 lead.

KK leaves after 3.1 and is relieved by Katie. Katie induces 3 ground balls, with the 1st being misplayed by the 1st basemen to work out of the jam.

Baylor leads 7-0 going into the bottom of the 4th. All 7 runs charged to KK with 6 of them being earned.

Baylor squeezes out another run in the top of the 5th, then finish of a 2-hit run rule of the Shocks by an 8-0 score.

Shocks knock off Central Arkansas 9-1.

KK with her best outing of the year going the distance and scattering 7-hits including a solo home run in the bottom of the 5th for UCA's only run.

Shocks with 12 hits (10 singles and 2 doubles) plus were helped by wildness from UCA pitchers in the form of walks, HBP's and wild pitches.

Case in point. KA is only nominally effective, giving up three runs (one earned) on six hits and one walk in three innings. Breezy comes in and pitches four scoreless innings, giving one hit and one walk. A totally different outing by Breezy from last weekend and the two opponents are not that far apart.

This could be a tough one today. UTEP is better than I thought.

How tough could they be, Nebraska beat them with three Kansas girls in the starting lineup. Oh Brooke Thomason hit a 3 run homer to do it though.
