A walk, sac and double scores one for SIU-E in the first. Kiersten's double in the top half is not cashed in. 1-0 after one inning.

After two outs, JamieS' infield single and an error on Lauren's ball gets runners to first and third. And then Jamie is called out for leaving early??!? How can you leave early from third with two out?

Three up, three down for SIU-E with two strike outs - three for the game for Kasha.

              0-1 after two.

Lindsie leads off with a HBP and is sacrificed over, but two outs follow.

                  Another 1-2-3 inning for SIU-E.

                  0-1 after three.

A two-out single by Bobo is followed by a walk to JamieS and a run-scoring single by Lauren. Then Lauren is caught stealing - back end of a double steal?

Another 1-2-3 inning for Kasha. She has retired eleven in a row after the RBI double she gave up. A lot (7) of fly ball and pop up outs - the rise must be working well today.

                    1-1 after four.

Three ground ball outs for the Shocks in the fifth. In fact, SIU-E has no fly ball outs, so I am assuming a drop ball pitcher - or mostly good swings from us.

After Kasha's fourth strike out, SIU-E gets a double, only their second hit, but there is no further damage.

                      1-1 after five.

A one-out single by Gert, but Caley, the pinch runner, is caught stealing to end the inning.

SIU-E leads off with a single, and the runner is moved over with a sac bunt. The runner advances to third on a fly out, and a HBP puts a runner on first who promptly steals second. But another fly out ends the inning.

                        1-1 after six.

QP, she struggled a bit - time to change pitchers? :D

                        j/k

Why would we not pinch hit Tiffany?

Bobo leads off with her second single of the day and is moved over by JamieS' ground out. Lauren strikes out, so Holly hits for the slapper Lindsie to try to score the run from second. She walks and now Kersti, another slapper, is at the plate - but she can drive the ball a little bit, so she has a chance to score Bobo. Nope - a ground out and we go to the bottom half, still tied.

Tiffany is a low contact hitter - of her 29 outs this year, 16 have been strike outs. Well, to be complete, she is 10-for-39 with eight walks.
