The late signing period for the Class of 2017 expired yesterday. So while we still may add a player or two or three to next year's roster it will be outside the LOI system. At this point I would think any additions between now and the start of the falls semester will be either Juco players, D-1 transfers or foreign players. Of course, Coach Keitha may decide just to go with the 9 she has and put all her eggs and effort into the Class of 2018 basket.

Ericka Mattingly seems like a reasonable possibility on the transfer front but by no means a sure thing.

Still plenty of time. We have 3 months before the fall semester starts. Seems like transfers in particular like to take their time in making a decision. In the case of graduate transfers the academic offerings they are looking for could be important. After all most of these players won't bew making a living playing basketball so the academics are probably a much bigger factor than they are for the men. Non-graduate transfers are looking at sitting out a year because they find themselves in a less than optimal situation and probably want to make sure they get it right this time (as much as they can).

It's also possible that Coach Keitha has surveyed the landscape and has decided to just go with what she has for 2017-18 and focus her recruiting efforts on the Class of 2018. Should have some news on that front in early November with the early LOI signing period.

The Shocks won the Valley regular season championship and the Valley Tournament in 2014-15 when Alex Harden, Kesley Jacobs and Jamillah Bonner were seniors. They maybe went 8 deep that year. Jaleesa Chapel was 1st off the bench and played about 15 minutes per game. Brittany Martin played about 6.5 minutes per game and Aundra Stovall played about 5 minutes per game. The other two members of that 10-member roster, Moriah Dapprich and Kayla White, played very sparingly.

The Shocks have 9 players on next year's roster that have all played decent minutes so in theory anyway they could get by with what they have.
