If the Shocks could get out of the 7th without giving up 6 against Loyola and any against Drake in their 1st game of that series, they win the league.

Oh well, looking forward to the tournament here.

Shockers lose 8-7 in 8 innings. An absolute implosion by the pitching staff. Not what you want heading into the post-season.

Hopefully, the Shocks can show they have a very short memories.

Given that we can play well enough to get there, the implosion and fourth place puts us on the Drake side of the bracket rather than the Missouri State side.

Exactly. And since we will already be at home we won't be going anywhere. However, it really is impossible to predict how the Shocks will pitch in the Valley Tournament. They could be lights out or they could be at the other extreme or just about anywhere in between.
