Shocks with 5 hits and 2 walks in the 1st two innings but have only managed to score the 1 run. Let's hope that doesn't come back to haunt them.

Shocks put up 3 in the top of the 4th and lead 4-1.

Indiana State hits a grand slam and leads UNI 6-4.

The Shocks had pushed a run across in the 4th on 3 singles and then with runners on 2nd and 3rd and 1 out Macklin Hitz struck out.

Not exactly sure what happened next but I am guessing the Loyola catcher tried to pick off Kelli Spring at 3rd and she scored and then Mackenzie Wright scored also from 2B on an error by the LF. That either had to be on the LF misplaying the ball backing up the throw or making a throwing error trying to get Mackenzie at 3rd.

Thanks to that help from Loyola (Cacy Williams popped up for the 3rd out) the Shocks are up 4-1 heading into the bottom of the 4th.

Bears with a 1 out, 2 run HR to take a 3-1 lead over SIU in the top of the 6th. Ugh

Indiana State hits a grand slam and leads UNI 6-4.

That Sycamore Slam came with 2-outs in the 4th.

UNI threatened in the bottom of the 5th but the final out of the inning made at the plate on a UNI runner trying to score from 2B on a single.

Indiana State picked up 2 more runs in the top of the 6th on two throwing errors on the same play to go up 8-4.

However, MSU has the bases loaded and 1-out in the top of the 7th already leading 3-1.

After 2-outs in the bottom of the 6th a single, error and single loads the bases for UNI and brings the tying run to the plate.

UNI's 2-hole hitter lines out to 3B to end the threat.
