I am not sure they "normally" even announce the departure of an assistant coach until a replacement is found. The exception may be in the situation where Coach Forbes and Coach Jans left to take head coaching positions. I don't recall if there was an "official" announcement when Dana Ford left the men's program or not. If Coach Dorsey is leaving she was on the bottom rung of the ladder among Jody's 3 assistants and had only been here 1 year. So the handling of this departure may be totally within the norm for 1-year bottom of the ladder positions.

What's one of the common threads between Jody Adams and Judy Favor? Becky Endicot. I believe she facilitates this kind of behavior.

Jody will be gone one way or another. I don't believe she can sustain much support because of these revelations. Nor do I believe she will be able to recruit championship level players. I don't see any MVC trophies in the foreseeable future.

I think there is a coach out there who's somewhere between Jody Adams and Jane Albright that can win championships and mold character.

Coach Dorsey was the recruiting coordinator at Texas State before joining Jody's staff. Diamond Lockhart transferred from Texas Tech and is from a suburb on the south side of Dallas. So it is very possible, perhaps even likely that Coach Dorsey and Diamond knew each other from recruiting activities. Having a Coach with Texas connections is pretty valuable at Wichita State.

In late 2013 Coach Kirk Crawford left WSU after only 1 season and took a job at Texas Tech. He was actually dropped from the goShokers.com web site and added to Texas Tech's web site. However, within about 2 weeks he was back at Wichita State. Never heard what that was all about. Coach Crawford could also have been aware of Diamond as that would have been the summer before her freshman year.
