The ultra-intense Adams’ case was not helped when the Wichita Eagle revealed in a Friday report that four players, including two starters, are transferring from the program. Adams has won big at the Missouri Valley Conference school but has had an unusually high transfer rate, which many trace to the tension-filled nature of her practices.

I'm not sure she is a candidate for any job right with this investigation going on. 3 winning seasons or not, I can't see anyone hiring her right now. I'll be surprised if she survives the week as our coach though.

"I have decided to to stay at Wichita State and continue our winning ways," Adams said. "I have great respect for Kansas University, its storied basketball tradition and the remarkable individuals that continue to add to that tradition.

"Understandably, I was honored that Sheahon Zenger considered me to be the Head Women's Basketball Coach at KU. I am extremely proud to be the head women's basketball coach at Wichita State University and I look forward to continuing my work with our own group of remarkable administrators, coaches, student-athletes and fans."

Well, this could get very interesting.

And now she has "withdrawn her name from consideration". Or in other words, KU saw the smoke rising out of Koch Arena and told her they were no longer considering her as a candidate.
