I thought the 2 mid-court sections (lower bowl only) on both sides of the arena were reserved seating. Just ask one of the ushers they can tell you. Getting a good seat with a GA ticket is usually not the least bit of an issue.

Pretty sure it's just the west side. Finding a good seat is never an issue regardless.

I guess there are 2 sections on each side. They don't patrol these very well as I know the people who sit just across the aisle from us don't buy reserved seats but sit in that section every time.

Just called the ticket office. Sections 106 and 108 (lower bowl) on the West Side and Sections 121 and 122 (lower bowl) on the East Side are reserved seating. The rest of the arena is GA.

GA Section 110 is equal to Reserved Section 106 on the West side and GA Section 120 is equal to Reserved Section 122 on the East side.

You can buy single game reserved seats if you want to but it is hardly worth the extra cost since their is so much good seating available on a GA basis.

Perhaps the best thing about have a reserved seat season ticket is you get to know the folks around you.

Your are absolutely correct with your observation that they don't patrol these very well but with all the empty seats available even in the reserved sections you can usually sit just about anywhere you want. If you are in a reserved section when the seat holder shows up you will, of course, be asked to move.

OTOH common courtesy would dictate that you avoid sitting in a reserved seat unless you have paid for that right. My guess is many GA ticket holders who sit in the reserved sections don't even realize it because as you say they don't patrol or enforce this to any great degree.

Not anything I am losing any sleep over though.

We sit in 123 so its never an issue for us. Most of the time our group of 10-12 are the only ones in the section, maybe a few others. The people we talk to in 122 are not reserved holders but they always sit there. We have been season ticket holders since the Linda Hargrove days. Always amazes me that attendance hasn't really moved up despite our record, except for when opposing teams bring in fans. With the very minimal cost of season tickets (30 bucks in some cases) I still get people who ask me if the tickets are worth it.

Pretty inexpensive and I always have maintained that every dollar I spend on the VB, WBB, Softball, Baseball, etc. is a dollar that the Men's basketball team does not have to subsidize so I am really supporting the Men's Basketball program with my WBB season tickets. I could just add those dollars to my SASO contribution but why not get some additional entertainment value for those extra dollars if I can.

I may be in the minority but even if the entire reserved section was empty 5 minutes after tip off I still couldn't move over. I avoid confrontation at all costs, even something as simple as being asked to move. Plus I'm OCD. Have to sit in the exact same row and chair or the game just isn't the same.

The few times we have had GA ticket holders in our seats I don't think they even realized they were in a reserved seating section. No confrontation really. We kindly suggest they are in our seats and show them our tickets (or ticket cards this year) and if they ask where they can sit refer them to the usher.

Sometimes they just move up or down a row or two where there are usually empty seats.

I suspect the reserved season ticket holders are a little thicker on the West side since the reserved parking from season ticket holders is generally on the West side of the arena.

Really good crowd with 10 minutes to go until tip-off. Lot of purple behind the Cats bench. 2 fairly full sections. Always glad to see Jacie Capra (Hoyt) back in the roundhouse.

Not the prettiest game but it's a dubya.

I'm sure KState fans are livid, but that was an outstanding charge call late against the Wildcat center.

Jacie Hoyt-Capra.....sorry to see she's at KSU instead of WSU but good for her! And good for Anthony.

It was pretty sloppy in the 2nd half, but dang-nations that was a lot of fun!
