    That's 5 WCWS appearances in 9 seasons at Florida, 1 National Championship and 3 runners up (I believe). That's heady stuff and Tim has to be considered one of the best coaches in the nation, or at least on a very short list. Well done Coach Walton.

      In previous championship series, Florida lost 2-0 to Washington in 2009 and 2-0 to Arizona State in 2011. Kelsey Stewart from Ark City (until her senior year when she moved to Wichita and played for Maize) was 4 for 7 in this year's championship series, scoring four runs and driving in one. She also made a couple of nice plays as the Gator second baseman.
