Personally I think that covered seating gives it much more of a stadium feel. Also with the wind we have to put up with in Kansas, I like the stadiums that are sunken in and the seating at ground level. It seems like the elements (wind and sun) are much worse when you are sitting at WSU elevated on aluminum bleachers.

If you don't like the aluminum bleachers you have a few choices 1) take a blanket or a cushion to sit on 2) some people take lawn chairs in and they set up nicely in the aluminum bleachers or 3) sit in the plastic chairbacks behind home plate. I have never been to a game where finding a seat either in the aluminum bleachers or the plastic chairbacks has been an issue.

As far as covered seating. No thanks. The Shocks are playing their final home game this weekend on Sunday April 28. Any sunshine I find myself in on or before April 28 is manna from heaven.
