Notre Dame can bet UConn. I've seen Penn State Play, the bigs you listed are just that, listed. The 6-3's are more 6-0 to 6-1. PSU is a good team. I saw Nebraska destroy them with a full court press. Again, I like our chances.

Nebraska was a group of 5-9 guards and ran Penn.

Penn State did beat Illinois State by 72-60 in the Bahamas back in late November. So you may be right.

Shocks beat the Redbirds by 16 at Normal, by 19 in Wichita and by 16 in St. Charles.

I have not seen Penn State play. My opinion is probably colored by the athletes their Volleyball program puts on the floor.

Penn State did lose to Notre Dame at home 67-77. They lost to UConn at home 52-71. Baylor played UConn to within 11 in Waco. Other than that, Penn State and 3 other teams were the only ones to stay within 20 of UConn.

Penn State beat Ohio State by margins of 24 and 20 in the regular season and then lost to them by 17 in their 1st game of the Big Ten Tournament. In their last 3 games PSU lost @ Nebraska by 20, beat Michigan by 15 at home and lost to Ohio State by 17 at the B1G Tournament in Indianapolis. Maybe we are catching them at a good time.

They are 12-4 at home with losses to UConn (#2 in the RPI), Notre Dame (#1), Purdue (#9) and Iowa (#23).

Are they beatable. Yes, but the Shocks will have to play one of their best games, if not absolutely their best game, of the season.

Agreed. When our defense is in high gear and we have balanced scoring, including Kelsey attacking the rim, we are tough and can make it a game with Penn State. I hope we get some fans to attend. 18 hour drive or a $900 flight, will eliminate some of our Shocker Faithful.

Shocker Ladies flying way, way under the radar. Can the achieve another program 1st today. I don't know. But I'll be watching and rooting for them.

              Go Shocks.

Not a good start for the Lady Shocks. As feared the size mis-match is huge. The Shocks only chance will be to shoot the ball well from the perimeter and so far that ain't happening.

Shocks finding the range as Jamillah, Dapp, Alie and Alex have all knocked down perimeter shots in a 10-0 run by the Shocks. Both Michelle and Kelsey already have 2 fouls.

Shocks were a little tight and tentative over the 1st few minutes of the game, but now they seem to have Penn State back on their heels a little bit.
