Bradley, who likes to play at an up-tempo pace on offense (but defense is apparently optional), punched the Shocks in the mouth jumping out to an early 14-5 lead. However, the Shocks quickly righted the ship and lead 43-30 at the half behind 19 points from Jamillah including 4-5 from behind the arc.

Bradley only played 7 players in the 1st half and 3 of those have 3 fouls. Bradley lost to MSU on Friday 86-55.

Indiana State held on to defeat Illinois State in Terre Haute 47-44 to remain undefeated in league play.

Shockers maintaining their 13 point lead at 54-41 with 14 minutes remaining. Jamillah loving the helter-skelter, up-tempo style Bradley plays.

Shocks letting Bradley hand around and now only lead by 6 at 56-50 with 12 minutes to go. Jamillah and Kelsey on the bench with 4 fouls each. This would be a bad, bad loss if the Shocks let this one get away.

Time for Alex Harden to take over this game for the Shocks.

Shocks lead 66-55 at the under 8 media timeout. Alex did in fact lead the Shocks back to a double digit lead but this game is still very much in doubt.

Jamillah fouls out with 6:40 remaining and Kelsey fouls out with 4:47 left.

Bradley pulls back to within 10 points at 68-58. Shocks turning the ball over quite a bit.

Worst officiating ever. I hate the Valley.

Holy crap that was too close at the end. Bradley ends the game with an 11-0 run in the last 1:05. 4 Shockers fouled out and 2 more had 4.

Fortunately, the Shocks had a 13 point lead with 1:05 left and held on 74-72. Whew.

Almost a screw job of epic proportions. That should be investigated

worst officiating of all time. I think we should have backed off into a zone. We weren't allowed to play aggressive "D"

-The Shocks hang on to win 74-72 in what would have to be a very unimpressive effort by the Shocks although I wonder how much this game really belonged to and was controlled by the officiating. The Shocks were called for 34 fouls, had 4 players (Jamillah, Kelsey, Michaela and Michelle) foul out and were out-scored by 15 from the line.

Jamillah had a tremendous offensive game with 28 points on 9-12 FG (5-7 on treys) and 5-5 FT's but fouled out with about 7 minutes remaining.

The Shocks simply do not have the depth to absorb this kind of foul trouble and Jody said they need to figure it out.

The main positive on the day is that they survived and extended their winning streak to a school record 11 games. Unfortunately, the team seems to be digressing not progressing. Hopefully, a couple of home games next week against against UNI and Drake will get the Shocks back on track a little bit.

I don't think they are digressing as last year's team probably would have choked it away. Again it wasn't just the players. Jody should have changed up the defense, let up on the defensive pedal and mixed up the offense. If I'm the coach, I would have taken this one for the players. They only know one speed and the officials, who were inept didn't allow it. Great to be home. Let's pack it in. The men almost choked it away and their fans are quite pleased. Wow!!! 3-0 on the road and 12-2. Great!!

Absolutely. You have to adjust to how the game is being called. Just because one set of officials allowed a certain level of contact does not mean that the next set will.

To an extent, but when it comes down to the most basic ways you teach your players to play the game you can't and shouldn't have to do that.

Enormous amounts of time go into teaching specific technique/footwork. It undoes a lot of work to tell players to stop doing everything you taught them.

This...it's like telling an offensive lineman he can't touch anyone because every time he does he gets called for holding.

The game tape needs to be reviewed by league officials and action should be taken.

Jody was a model of decorum in comparison to what I would have been.

Can you imagine Fran McCaffery with this bunch of tools?
