Fantastic! Let's hope the guys can keep the good times rollling.

Honestly I thought HCJA had bitten off more than we could chew with such a tough NC schedule but I was dead wrong. GO SHOCKS GO!History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it - Sir Winston Churchill

Chynna has been playing the best ball of her career lately. Haleigh was terrific especially when she was really needed in the 2nd half.
And yes, it does look like the tougher non-con schedule may be paying some dividends. Let's hope this level of play continues and grows even stronger as the younger kids gain experience.
BTW, Northern Iowa knocke off Missouri State today 62-54. So the weekend could not have worked out much better for the Lady Shocks.

All, FWIW, but it appears getting a win out of this trip would be a good result.

Chynna has turned into a double-double machine all of a sudden. 19 points and 12 rebounds today incuding a perfect 7-7 FG and 5-7 from the line. It will be interesting to see her Prouty rating for this game. This follows up her 13 and 12 effort against UNI and now gives her 4 double-doubles this year.
Haleigh cashed in 15 points, all in the second half, and Jessica chipped in 13.
Still early but sweeping the UNI - Bradley road swing is probably not something too many (if any) MVC teams will do, especially considering Valley favorite Missouri State couldn't duplicate the Shocks performance this weekend.
Happy New Year All! A good new year's resolution might be to get out and support the Lady Shocks.
