      Humourous.

The "LiveStats" link for the game against Arkansas. Eventually the play-by-play and boxscore tabs will appear. The game is also available on ESPN3.

All of the AAC teams went into their Regional as the #3 seed, yet they won three of four.

Nearing the end of the first full season in the American and I must say, this fan has nothing to complain about. Great conference.

Go Shocks! Get a run and let's make it stand up!

Bailey does have the start for the Shockers, and Mary Haff is in the circle again for the Razorbacks, a bit of a surprise.

Lineups are the same as yesterday for both teams.

Three-up, three-down in the top and bottom half of the first.

Laurie had a drive that was headed for the wall, but the LF snared it with an over-her-head catch.

That was a way above average catch, maybe not quite a Top 10 play, but certainly in the mix. Don't think it was going out of the park, but it was close and would have been a double or triple at a minimum.

          Baton Rouge Regional

          LSU 1-0 Houston

Heebner allowed only four hits, but an outfielder (unnecssarily?) dove for a ball that got behind her and scored the run.

The telecast play-by-play dude mentioned that the Shockers had to shuffle their lineup after Bailee was injured in the Thursday practice. How much attention am I paying to isn't playing? Doh.

No score after two. Asea's walk is the only baserunner to this point.

I was reading through the entire thread to see if I missed it but I heard the same thing a little bit ago from the TV announcer and was hoping you knew what happened as they didn't provide any details.

When he made that remark, it was definitely news to me.

With two outs in the Shocker third, Mackenzie walks, steals second and Bailey walks, but Laurie fouls out.

Still no score, still no baserunners for Arkansas.

The Razorbacks get an infield single in the fourth on a very high chop to Mackenzie, but cannot advance her.

Asea gets a one-out single and moves to second on an error by the LF, but neither Ryleigh nor Paige can move her.

                No score after four.

The Razorbacks lead off the fifth with an absolute bomb followed by a triple off the wall in right. Laurie throws out that runner at the plate. A walk continues the Arkansas threat. An error by Kaylee (bad timing again) loads the bases.

Too many birthdays in this family. Have to check this out much later.

Arkansas adds 3 more in the 7th not that really needed them with Freshman pitccher Mary Haff pretty much in total control of the game. Shocks will play at 6:30 against the OSU-Depaul winner.

It's the Shockers and the Cowgirls Part IV. Game time looks to be at around 6:54. Video available on ESPN3 assuming it is not blacked out in Wichita.
