Shocks need at least one more basket or a couple of free throws and they need to rebound any Creighton misses.

Great clutch shot by Chynna. Glad they didn't listen to my advice.

Haleigh finishes the game with 19 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 turnovers, and 6 steals.

She didn't shoot all that efficiently (7-17), but otherwise, what a game!

                Biggest stat of the game:

                WSU FT Shooting: 15-15
                CU FT Shooting: 12-18

6 in a row now for the Lady Shocks. They are definitely playing there best basketball under Jody in the last few weeks.

As TMH pointed out one of the big areas of improvement in the team is there new found ability to withstand runs by opponents.

There free throws shooting has also improved greatly they were horrible earlier in the year but that have made great strides in not only getting to the line but knocking them down also.

They also are doing a lot better job of taking care of the ball and sharing the ball. I give a lot credit for this to Jessica who struggled prior to MVC play, but who has really stepped it up in the second half of the season.

This team still has some things to work on but nice to see the Ladies rewarded for the hard work they have put in during the year.

UNI is going to be very tough tomorrow, but if we can pull the upset we have just as good a chance as anybody to win this Tournament.

                    Big game for the Shocks.
That was a freshman, a very good freshman, trying to win the game on her own. During the Shocks 6-game winning streak I think they have figured out it takes a team to be successful.

Always good when any team beats sCUm. Glad we're making up some ground against those grubs.

How awesome would 2 wins be that gets the Shocks to the NCAA's at HOME???

I was thinking about them not fouling WSU late, with only an 8 second difference in the shot clock, and down 3. I know we were 15-15 from the line, but wow. They lived dangerously....fortunately we burned them.

It would be very nice, but 6 in a row or not, the 400lb gorilla, both literally and figuratively, are waiting in the next room.

Beating UNI will take a Hurculean effort, to say the very least.

Against Bradley today, UNI shot 50% from the field (29-58) including 12-21 (57.1%) from 3-point range and 17-20 from the free throw line.

If they do that against the Shocks we don't have a chance.

Shocks will have to play their best game of the year to knock off UNI who has now won a school record 17 straight games.
