From reading the eagle he basically said that he asked Doug Elgin awhile what defines a conference in NCAA sports and the answer was NCAA tourny bids, he then asked if it was good for a team with a weaker NCAA resume to beat one with a strong one in the Valley tourny and Elgin said Yes. He then said that Doug got his wish that with the 2 teams with the best NCAA resume losing in the first rounds that there is a good chance we'll only get an automatic bid.
