I think the surprise (shocker) of the tournament will be Illinois State knocking Missouri State out of the tournament early.

Wouldn't surprise me. MSU hasn't played well since we beat them in CKA.

Wow. I know MSU hasn't been playing great of late, but I did not expect them to get swept by ISU.

SIU just took game 1 from CU 30-25, but CU is out to a 11-8 lead in game 2.

CU wins games 2 and 3....30-16 and 30-24.

Game 4 tied 17-17 at the moment.

Creighton wins 3-1 against SIU

25-30, 30-16, 30-24, 30-22

SIU always seems to win the first game. They did that the weekend WSU and MSU played them. Of course, they proceeded to lose the next three games each time, just like today.

Man I know I predicted ISU would shock us with a win against MSU but to beat WSU too...WOW

Yet another dissappointing Valley Tourney.


Hard to understand how we are 67-5 in the regular season the last 4 years in the Valley and 2-3 in the tournament.


It is going to be a bitter, bitter pill to swallow if this is the end of the road this season for the Wahine Shockers.

Lamb complaining in the Eagle this morning about having this tournament. We have these in baseball, softball and basketball. Get used to it. Win and you dont have to worry.

I'm optimistic that we'll get in this time around. I think demographic factors - i.e. ATTENDANCE, RPI, rankings - are a bit more in our favor this time around.

But I will be poised to send flames to the search committee if we are treated like we were in 2005.
