        Whew! Shocks close it out on an ace by Sara Lungren 30-25!

        Credit to SIU. They were definitely ready to play. Nice job by the Lady Shocks shaking off the poor Game 1 to win the next 3 sets.

          Kim seemed to have a great match. Stephanie did well but not as well as in some matches. It sounded like SIU was tough. If we meet them in the MVC tourney, I hope the Shocks remember this match and come out angry. I'm curious to see the box scores.

            Real "frazas" shown by the Shocker Wahine tonight. Started sloppy but still finished off a solid opponent, on the road.

              Lambo stated that Steph didn't practice much this week because of foot pain.


              Sara as close as she has been to 100% in more than a year and it shows.

                Praise for Kim from Lambo!!! I wonder where Katie and Lindsey were tonight. It's nice to see players often on the bench get playing time and do well.

                Maybe Sara is back to 2006 form. Great serving by Sara.

                Lambo pissed about our defense. If this (Lambo's bad mood) carries over to the MSU match, I like our chances.

                Sara says her knee is good and SHE IS BACK !!! :yahoo:

                    Lambo did not seem too happy with being kicked out of the pratice gym this week, I guess for RNR, although he did not say the reason.

                    Congrats to Kim Wadsworth for stepping in and giving us a big boost along with Angela Jakubov and Sara Lungren.

                    Sounded like a tough night for Emily and Stephanie. Stephanie did not practice much this week due to her foot pain and her timing apparently was a little off.

                    Lambo not happy at all with our defensive effort tonight.

                    Hopefully, tomorrow will be not quite so traumatic on us Shocker fans and on Lambo.

                        Did Mike really say SIU hit .500 in game #4?


                        WOW How in the world did we win that game??!!


                        I assumed it was the bball team that knocked him out....which in that case I can understand his frustration. If it was for RTR, he might want be a bit more political. RTR pays a lot of bills..........
