I hate to be beating a dead horse, but.. I realize you don't wanna give a free ball over to the opposition on a serve, but not serving it in doesn't even give you a friggen chance at the point.

Shocks gave up a ton in a row at the end but still won 25-22 (score was in a little doubt at the end when MSU had about 6 straight points).
What a dissappointing evening. To be that unfocused for 1 match on the weekend.....that's a shame. That's going to be a long bus ride home for some.

What can you say! Congratulation to MSU. They pretty much kicked our rear ends tonight. MSU was better physically and much better mentally tonight. The Shocks were essentially a one-woman team.
I'll say it again, we miss Kelly Broussard's toughness and leadership more than a little bit.
I'm with Doc, in that I got a bad feeling about this match at the end of Set 1 and then our performance in the second half of Set 3 sure didn't add to my confidence. In fact, I think those meltdowns late in Sets 1 and 3 may have cost us the match, even though we won those two sets. We had a chance to bury the Bears and put a big dose of doubt in their minds instead we just handed them a big dose of confidence and momentum.
I truly hope this will prove to be just one of those nights, but there is just something missing from this team and my sense is that it is more mental than physical. Hopefully, Lambo can get some heads straight going forward.
1 ace to 15 service errors. Suffering Succotash, Shocks!

When Stockman couldn't find openings, no other Shocker stepped up. MSU's one-on-one blockers in the middle held up. The Shockers hit .226 for the match, falling to .194 and .091 in the final two sets.
"We need a few more pieces," Lamb said.
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.
