    That is sick.
Rice news release talking about WSU hitting .625 during one stretch of one set.

To do that for a match, against any DI opponent, more less against a tournament team.

Only thing sicker would be that team losing the next day to an underrated team that didnt get the respect it deserved from the NCAA.

Looks like Lamar did very little to get Texas ready for the beat down that's comin' to 'em.

O K Shockers play Texas in the place. Now I would like to see them in our place. There players heart might skip a beat when they see 6,500+ fans going crasy in YELLOW.
First a Baseball fan then a Volleyball fan and then I guess I follow the basketball team.

After seeing the 'horns for the 1st time vs Lamar yesterday I have to say they have some impressive length. Think of the Shockers with 3 or 4 Stepahinie Tokarz with the athleticism of Emily Stockman and that is not even counting several other 6'2" players including Sophomore All-America OH Juliann Faucette.

Both the Shocks and Longhorns have outstanding freshman setters running the attack.

Kelly B and friends will have to have outstanding floor games.

My brain says the Shocks simply don't have the firepower to stay with the Longhorns.

My heart says the Shocks somehow reach deep down for another gear to raise their game to pull a huge upset. A long shot maybe, but not impossible.

Our best chance is to serve Texas really tough. At times their passing off of serve receive has been suspect, and it is one of their few weaknesses (although not all the time).

I can live with a high number of service errors this match since it is far better to go for the big, tough serve than to give Texas an easy serve that gets them right into their offense, because then you stand no chance.

I think our service game is a weakness this year. I hope it is good against Texas.
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Lets hope... because net serves (especially jump serves) give me heart burn.

I might be happy with making them call a timeout. :)

Penn State and Yale are now streaming, so I assume we will be able to see the Shocks later with no problem.

Penn State, 25-18, 25-11, 25-12. I can see how they have not lost a set all year. Hitting, blocking, digging, serving - they do it all.

Had the priveledge of watching two VB matches at the Koch with my 4 kids this year...totally enjoyed the experience as did my kids. Was very impressed with the athleticism of the girls. Here's to Doc for cluing me into a great sporting event and the realization that Coach Lamb has something special this year and perhaps for quite some time. Go Shocks...beat the whorns (I personally liked it Doc).

I called the station, and they just do not have the feed going yet - I am listening on Internet so I can watch video - not sure about "radio" radio. I do not expect video until very near 430pm. Now 421pm.

No. Butler vs Snow game in OT on 1330 and Bill Self stuttering on 1240 and 98.7 FM and nothing on the internet feed.

May have to listen to Texas announcers.
