Shocks vs Longhorns (Let's Celebrate)

I am starting this thread before Texas takes on Lamar and assuming Texas will win that match easily.

If I happen to jinx the Longhorns, then I can live with that.

Shocks will play the Longhorns tomorrow at 4:30 PM and have absolutely nothing to lose.

Win or lose, this has been a very special season achieved by an outstanding group of young ladies and the coaching staff.

The Shocks have their first ever 30 win season in the bag.

A loss to the Longhorns while ending our season, should move us up about 5 spots in the final national rankings just by virtue of sharing a court with the Longhorns.

A win by the Shockers would be the greatest VB victory in School history.

Either way we will have much to celebrate tomorrow, one way or the other.

We can't blame Texas. They did all they were supposed to do, and if we were in their shoes and didn't host, security would have to be out in force outside Brands office.

Even with their lousy attendance, they earned the right to host. Now some other schools......

Texas cruises 25 - 8 in Set 3 for the Sweep.

Texas definitely looks like a #3 national seed. The Longhorn's length will be a great challenge for the Shocks.

I am really looking forward to seeing what the Shockers can do against such a physically gifted team.

I know the Shocks will give it all they have and, hey, in sports you just never know when you might be Shocked.
